Our mission is to help our clients achieve sustainable growth and long-term operational success by delivering practical, results-driven supply chain and procurement consulting services. We partner with organizations to improve performance, reduce total cost, and build resilient operations through expert support in procurement strategy development, strategic sourcing initiatives, and the design and optimization of transportation networks and distribution operations.

We combine business insight with hands-on implementation expertise to turn strategy into measurable results. Our services include procurement technology implementation and optimization—including platforms such as Coupa—along with warehouse layout and flow design, and end-to-end Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations supporting various WMS platforms. By aligning people, process, and technology, we enable our clients to operate more efficiently, make better decisions, and achieve sustainable, scalable growth in an increasingly complex and competitive environment.

This policy establishes our approach to sourcing materials, equipment, software, and services in a manner that minimizes environmental impact, promotes social responsibility, and supports long-term sustainability within the aviation and supply chain industries. HAS-US delivers services through a core team of direct employees supported by a network of highly qualified independent (1099) professionals who bring deep functional and technical expertise to each engagement. In addition, we maintain established relationships with trusted delivery partners to support specialized implementation needs. These partnerships include BoxWorks Technologies for warehouse automation and material handling system implementations, and CC Software Inc. for software configuration, integration, and deployment services. This flexible delivery model allows us to scale effectively, assemble the right expertise for each project, and provide our clients with high-quality, end-to-end solutions.

Robert Hills

  

A recently retired Partner from Deloitte Consulting, Rob seeks to provide immediate and lasting value for client's supply chain and supply management programs as a full time or part time role. 

Rob is a Seasoned Supply Chain Journeyman, prior to his 30 years experience in Management Consulting and Airline / Aviation experience, Rob was an Engineering Manager at both Honeywell Aerospace and Douglas Aircraft. He now leads projects to support small to midsize and even Large Cap  companies seeking to improve operating and financial performance. He brings his decades of experience in working with fortune 500 companies, across multiple continents in support of all aspects of Supply Chain and operational functions. Rob recently managed all warehouse design and facilities management for a complex service parts distribution environment.

THOMAS BOYKIN

   

Thomas is a seasoned Supply Chain professional with over 30 years of industry and consulting experience helping companies improve logistics and distribution operations to reduce costs, enhance customer service and drive revenue.

Capabilities include distribution network design, logistics systems design and implementation, transportation management and supply chain innovation. Thomas has served the consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences and airline industries. Prior to his consulting career, Thomas was one of the founding members of UPS’ Supply Chain Solutions third-party logistics practice.

Recently, Thomas has developed all training content and work procedures for a complex aviation client. 

Chris Dahm

  

  

Chris is a seasoned Warehouse and Distribution Solution Architect with vast experience with WMS and TMS solutions including  Manhattan Associates, Korber (HighJump), Blue Yonder (JDA), Tecsys,

Descartes, Oracle (NetSuite, Cloud, EBS), SAP, Epicor, JD Edwards. He has Extensive experience around the globe in successfully strategizing, planning and executing supply chain operations and technology transformations. Career spanning industry verticals in Omnichannel Retail, Consumer Products, Health Care, Aerospace, Logistics & Transportation, Food and Beverage, Grocery. Chris received his BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in 1995


Malcolm Hooks

  

  

 

 Malcolm has cross functional experience between the Supply Chain and Network Operations (SCNO) and Oracle – SCM service area. He has 10 years of global supply chain experience specifically focusing on Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Transportation (LTL and Last Mile). He has a diverse experience in Implementation and Product Management; his scope of projects include WMS, TMS, MES, and LIMS systems. 

 A Mathematician by study, he uses his training and experience to help develop reports, work flows, and minimal viable products (MVPs); routinely working closely with the IT and Business Intelligence team and serving as a liaison between the operations, development and business workstreams.. 


Bryce Hills

  

  

With a solid foundation in IT and software engineering, Bryce brings a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience in aviation warehouse facilities management. Over the past few months, Bryce has focused on implementing and optimizing aviation warehouse operations, providing technical training, and supporting facility operators and supervisor trainers. 

Bryce’s educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UC Riverside. Prior to his current role, he gained experience in IT, web development, and business intelligence, working on solutions that streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making. 

Bryce has recent experience setting up work and packing stations in a complex aviation environment. Further, he has experience with facilities layout related to automated equipment (Auto Fork trucks and AGV's)   


patrick Boykin

  

 Patrick is an accomplished operational and financial and data analyst with several years of intensive industry experience. He is adept at data-driven decision making, data interpretation/evaluation, and financial modeling. His modeling experience includes developing a distribution center network model to evaluate the cost and service tradeoffs of alternative configurations in support of a distribution strategy project. He is an excellent communicator and has operated effectively in collaborative environments, involved in various stages of project management, from drafting proposals to the designing and implementing project plans, to the delivery of qualitative and quantitative technical reports. Recognized for his technical proficiencies in data analytics and problem solving.

ESG - Supplier Sustainability

  

SCOPE: 

  • Our ESG scope applies primarily to 1099 workers, employees and partners with whom we go to market. Suppliers and partners include the procurement of the following services: 

 

  • Software programming / coding / system integration 
  • Warehouse automation equipment (ASRS, AGVs, conveyors, controls)
  • IT hardware and software
  • Construction and installation materials
  • MRO and operational supplies
  • Professional and subcontracted services


  • The General Sustainability Principles for HAS – US   There are four elements related to our Sustainability Principles: 


1 Environmental Responsibility - We prioritize suppliers and products that:

  • · Demonstrate reduced energy consumption or improved efficiency
  • · Offer equipment designed for long service life and maintainability
  • · Minimize packaging and use recyclable or reusable materials
  • · Comply with applicable environmental regulations (EPA, RoHS, REACH where applicable)
  • · Provide environmentally responsible end-of-life or recycling programs
  • · Support carbon reduction initiatives or publish environmental performance metrics


2 Ethical and Social Standards - Supplier Expectations: 

  • · Comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • · Prohibit forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking
  • · Provide safe and healthy working conditions
  • · Operate with integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption practices
  • · Respect diversity, equity, and inclusion


3 Supplier Diversity and Local Engagement - Where practical and competitive, we seek to:

  • · Engage small businesses and local suppliers
  • · Consider minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and disadvantaged businesses
  • · Support regional economic development near client project sites


4. Responsible Materials and Sourcing (normally in line with HAS’ client requirements) - We encourage suppliers to:

  • · Provide documentation on material composition when relevant
  • · Avoid conflict minerals or provide disclosure where applicable
  • · Use sustainably sourced or recycled materials where feasible
  • · Reduce hazardous substances in products and processes


Supplier Evaluation and Selection - Supplier selection considers a balance of:  

  • Quality & Performance - Reliability, certifications, aviation/industrial experience
  • Cost & Value  - Lifecycle cost, energy efficiency, maintenance requirements
  • Sustainability - Environmental practices, certifications (ISO 14001, etc.)
  • Ethics & Compliance  - Labor practices, safety record, regulatory compliance
  • Risk - Supply continuity, geographic and geopolitical risk ( For key suppliers and in line with HAS’ client requirements, we may request Sustainability or ESG documentation - Environmental certifications - Carbon or energy performance information - Safety statistics


Lifecycle and Total Cost Approach - Procurement decisions consider total lifecycle impact, including:

  • Energy consumption over equipment life
  • Maintenance and spare parts requirements
  • Upgradeability and serviceability
  • End-of-life disposal or recycling
  • System reliability to reduce operational      waste and disruption


Packaging, Logistics, and Waste Reduction - We work with suppliers to:

  • Reduce excess packaging
  • Use recyclable or returnable packaging where feasible
  • Consolidate shipments to reduce  transportation emissions
  • Optimize project logistics to minimize waste  and rework
  • Subcontractor and Project Site Expectations - Subcontractors working on installation or construction projects are expected to:
  • Follow applicable environmental and safety      regulations
  • Properly manage waste, including recycling      where available
  • Handle hazardous materials responsibly
  • Support site-specific Environmental Health      & Safety (EHS) requirements


Certification Commitment and Continuous Improvement

  • As a small business, Hills Advisory is actively building its sustainability program and governance framework. While we are not currently certified under a formal sustainability rating or standard, we are committed to:
  • Aligning our practices with recognized      sustainability frameworks and industry best practices
  • Evaluating certification programs (such as      EcoVadis, ISO 14001, or similar) as our organization grows
  • Establishing measurable sustainability      objectives and tracking progress over time
  • Increasing supplier engagement and      sustainability transparency
  • Continuously improving our environmental,      ethical, and procurement practices
  • The HAS – US goal is to achieve appropriate third-party sustainability recognition when it is operationally and economically practical for our organization.

Governance and Responsibility

  • The HAS Leadership Team is responsible for implementing this policy. Project Managers and Procurement personnel are responsible for applying these principles during supplier selection and project execution.  Questions or concerns regarding supplier practices may be reported to:

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) is more than a program at Hills Advisory Services - US—it is a foundational component of how we operate. DPR strives to have an evolving culture that raises the bar for the entire construction industry. Simply put: EHS is a value at HAS - US.  Our goal is straightforward: zero incidents on every project and we integrate EHS into all phases of our projects. Start to Finish we set goals and instill a safety mindset each day. We build an approach to identifying risks at the client site from the Site Works to the Crane Install. Further, we consider EHS for the business process design for our partners warehousing /procurement tools during process design workshops. All this helps us to identify potential risks and develop valuable prevention plans



  • Hills Advisory Services - US Subcontractor Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Policy


Our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) isn’t just a program, it’s part of who we are. Safety is one of our core values, and we are committed to setting  the highest standards of safety across every warehouse automation and software integration project we deliver. Our goal is simple: zero incidents on every project.

We expect all subcontractors, partners, and vendors working with Hills Advisory Services - US to share this commitment. Your adherence to these standards is essential to protecting people, ensuring quality, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

  

  • Subcontractor EHS Requirements  All subcontractors engaged by Hills Advisory Services - US are required to:


  • 1) Prioritize Safety in Prequalification and Staffing
  • Ensure that only qualified, trained, and competent personnel are assigned to Hills Advisory Services - US projects.
  • Maintain valid certifications and licenses for all employees and equipment operators.


  • 2) Follow Hills Advisory Services - US Safety Standards
  • Comply with Hills Advisory Services - US’ EHS Policy, project-specific safety plans, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Implement proactive risk assessments and hazard controls for all tasks, including crane installations, AGV deployment, and warehouse software integration activities.


  • 3) Promote Transparent Communication
  • Report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to Hills Advisory Services - US project leadership.
  • Encourage open discussion of safety issues without fear of retaliation.


  • 4) Integrate Safety into Business Practices
  • Recognize that strong safety performance is directly linked to quality outcomes, project timelines, and cost management.
  • Ensure safety is embedded in planning, execution, and daily operations.


  • 5) Participate in Joint Safety Activities
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings and toolbox talks with Hills Advisory Services - US project teams.
  • Actively participate in site inspections, audits, and accountability processes.

  • HILLS ADVISORY SERVICES - US EHS Guidelines 
  • 1. Hazard Identification & Prevention
  • Housekeeping: Maintain clear aisles and floors, free of clutter and debris to prevent slips, trips, and falls. 
  • Equipment Safety: Regularly inspect and maintain machinery, forklifts, and racking systems to prevent malfunctions and collapses. 
  • Loading Docks: Block off exposed loading dock edges and maintain a safe distance from edges. 
  • Proper Storage: Store materials correctly to prevent falling objects and to keep them from obstructing walkways and exits. 


  • 2. Employee Training & Ergonomics
  • Training Programs: Provide comprehensive training on safe work practices, equipment use, hazard communication, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 
  • Ergonomic Practices: Train employees on proper lifting techniques, the use of ergonomic tools, and the benefits of rest breaks for physical tasks. 
  • Extreme Conditions: Train employees to work safely in both hot and cold conditions. 


  • 3. Emergency Preparedness
  • Fire Safety: Install and maintain fire extinguishers, clearly marked emergency exits, and conduct regular fire drills. 
  • Evacuation Plans: Develop and communicate clear evacuation plans for emergencies, including procedures for accounting for all employees. 
  • Spill Response: Establish procedures for responding to hazardous material spills, ensuring proper containment and cleanup. 


  • 4. Hazardous Materials Management
  • Hazard Communication: Implement a program for handling hazardous chemicals, including proper labeling, storage, and access to safety data sheets (SDS). 
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensure employees have appropriate PPE and are trained on its selection and use when handling hazardous substances. 


  • 5. Regulatory Compliance & Management Systems
  • EHS Management  System: Implement an overarching EHS management system that includes policies, procedures, and protocols for continuous improvement. 
  • Regular Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits to identify hazards, assess compliance, and implement necessary corrective actions. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all EHS activities, including training, incident reports, and safety data sheets. 
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Implement proper lockout/tagout procedures for equipment to prevent accidental energizing and injury during maintenance.
